Locally known as "Zo," it is a crossbreed of yak and cow. These guys serve as a vital lifeline in the Himalayan region. Sometimes I often feel sorry for them. They carry essentials for trekkers and habitats in some of the challenging Himalayan areas. This picture is taken while returning from Singalila trekking just below Yambong fir forest. I saw snort coming out from his nose and Saliva dripping from his mouth. Was he tired?
